May 17th - World Telecommunication and Information Society Day
"Connecting Persons with Disabilities"
The World Telecommunication and Information Society Day is celebrated annually on 17 May.
In line with this theme, this year too Telecommunications Authority of Maldives is organising various activities to celebrate this years World Telecommunication and Information Society Day.
We are working with our partners, telecom operators and private businesses in the field of ICT in organising various activities to promote Telecommunication and Information Technology to create awareness among Maldivians.
One such event would be this years National Telecommunication and ICT Expo to be held from 26 - 28 May, 2008 in Maldives.
